The new cardboard drones are effective weapons.

The new cardboard drones are effective weapons.

Kamikaze drones are cruise missiles, that can patrol over the battlefield. And when their fuel ends, those systems can make a kamikaze attack. Paper drones are effective tools they are cheap and easy to make. But the AI makes them game-changers.

The Ukrainian strike against the Russian airbase shows how effective cardboard drones can be. These drones can equipped with an image-recognition system, that allows them to attack targets in a very long range. The image recognition camera also can operate as a TERCOM (Terrair Countour-Matching) system.

The system requires that their flight route is stored in computer memory as film, and then the AI-based visual TERCOM system can guide the drone to the target with extremely high accuracy. The internal inertia or optical TERCOM navigation system makes those drones immune to regular jamming systems.

Then the image-recognition camera can search for suitable targets. And then the drone can attack the most suitable targets like IL-76 transporters or missile rocket stages.  The cardboard layer can equipped with a water-repellent varnish layer. And that makes those drones capable of operating in rain. The cardboard drone is an interesting tool because that system can made by using recycled cardboard. And there is a possibility that this kind of cheap and effective system can created by using 3D printers.

The new warheads that create a hypersonic plasma-metal combination make slowly flying kamikaze drones capable of destroying even large-scale tanks. Tanks are less vulnerable to attacks than aircraft.

Things like microchips and computers can made be using modified cell phones and AI-based systems can be taken from Javelin missiles. The AI is cheap and that means all drones can have integrated computer software. The computer can download needed software to any land-sea and airborne system. And that means even the cheapest units can get effective AI-based systems. That allows them to avoid things like AA flak.

The paper drones with high-accuracy homing systems are also tools that are used to re-estimate the effectiveness of AA systems and security. The slow cheap drone that is invisible in radars is very hard to detect. Image recognition makes those drones capable of hitting individual vehicles or even selected persons. That thing makes those weapons extremely dangerous.

Nuclear powered aircraft can use RTG-generators

Picture I

"White knight" launch vehicle and its modification to the nuclear power aircraft could revolutionize many things in aviation. New forms of nuclear-powered aircraft would be already in production. Those things are unseen, and the technology, what is used is actually basing the RTG (Radio Thermal Generator), what is the so-called nuclear battery, what has given power to the spacecraft like Voyager-probes and other deep space exploration vehicles. Those nuclear-powered drones could be quite similar, with  Rutan's "White Knight" launch vehicle, what have been operated with X-37B.

This unmanned space launch system can be easy to modify the nuclear-powered vehicle, by installing the RTG:s and electric motors with propels to that vehicle. Those vehicles could fly extremely high altitude, and they can also carry cruise missiles under their fuselage. Those high flying unmanned platforms can operate even years in the atmosphere, and they can also be armed with nuclear warheads. Those systems can also operate with ASAT (Anti Satellite) missions, and they can carry anti-satellite missiles, and they are very hard to find and destroy.

Those small size motherships can also be used in other kinds of military purposes like shooting normal combat missiles like Harpoons and SLAM (Stand-Off Land Attack Missile) missiles. They are of course very easy to destroy if they can be located first, but the flight altitude of those systems can be over 20 kilometers. The record of electric motor powered aircraft is about 30 kilometers, and it was made by solar-powered  Helios aircraft. And there are rumors that also "Predator" drones are transformed to use RTG:s. Those motor systems can be only the RTG:s, where is connected the electric motors and those killer drones operate in the global area and strike without warning. The nuclear-powered aircraft are not addicted to sunlight.

There are study plans for creating the electric engine aircraft what bases the Helios, that uses the capillary tube to rotate the generators, what gives electric power to motors. But the aircraft is still in the drawing stage. The benefit of electric engined aircraft is, that those vehicles leave the very low infrared signature, and they can be produced by using STEALTH-technology, and that's why they are actually quite hard to find.

Strange holes in polar ice cap might have many explanations

http://crisisofdemocracticstates.blogspot.fi/p/strange-holes-in-polar-ice-cap-might.html

Kimmo Huosionmaa

In the North is found strange holes on the northern icecap. And there is one very strange but the natural explanation for those strange forms. The nuclear missile submarines are patrolling under the polar icecap and they would sometimes practice the missile launches thru the ice. During those exercises, the submarine would launch torpedoes to the ice for making holes, and then the missiles would shoot thru that hole. Another way to make that route for missiles is to use the warm water, what is boiled in nuclear reactors.

That would allow shooting missiles thru the ice in the crises and war. Nuclear submarines would patrol under the polar ice cap because the ice would isolate those vessels from the infrared surveillance, what comes from satellites. Also, use of surface ships, airplanes and helicopters for uncovering the location of the ballistic missile and cruise missile submarines is more difficult thru the ice than in open water. Airplanes are equipment, what can patrol very large areas, and the uncovering the submarines would be difficult. The use of sonar-buoys and other sensors is very difficult thru the ice. Only one problem with operating under the ice is that laser communication between submarines and satellites is impossible thru the ice, and if submarine would use laser communication system, must it make the hole into ice.

Maybe those holes are made also for Navy Seals and SPETSNAZ-troops operations on the icecap. During those missions, those troops would set some weather or intelligence systems on the ice or maybe they would return some scientific or military capsules like cameras to the country, what send it to space. Those missions are normally not public, and we must only guess, why those troops operate on the ice. And maybe they are practicing to return material like dropped airplanes and lost warheads with nuclear material in those simulated missions, where some satellite capsules would be taken under the custody. And for those missions there would be needed to make holes thru the ice.

How hypersonic missiles work?

Boeing X-51 Waverider  is typical HCM
(Hypersonic Cruise Missile) candidate
(Picture 1)

Kimmo Huosionmaa

Hypersonic missiles are the fastest man-made cruise missiles in the world. The function of those weapons is normally, that ballistic missile would take those weapons to the ballistic trajectory, what allows enough speed, that the hypersonic ramjets would be launched, and those motors would give this missile the speed of Mach 12. But there are many problems with those missiles and USAF X-51 "Waverider" failed, and it couldn't start it hydrogen scramjet-motors in 2012.

The hypersonic cruise missiles are new kind of weapon, what is extremely dangerous even without the nuclear warhead. The kinetic energy of those missiles is extremely high, and if that thing hits any target, would the result be devastating. Also, the defense against those weapons is extremely difficult because the angle of incoming missiles is so variable. The nuclear warhead is of course very devastating things, but the hypersonic missiles are devastating without explosives.

Many states have the similar projects, and the most devastating version of those missiles is the nuclear-powered missile, where the burning process of fuel has been replaced with the nuclear reactor. This missile has extremely high speed and because of its big size, this weapon can cause more destruction than any existed weapon ever before. The hypersonic speed allows using the pressure blast of those weapons as a weapon.

The hypersonic flight allows to use the pressure spire as the weapon, what might make the track anywhere this weapon flies. That would give this devastating cruise missile extreme devastating capacity. The big size nuclear-powered missile can use hydrogen or water as the fuel. In this solution, the fuel would be injected into the reactor, what would give very powerful specific impulse. This kind of nuclear ramjet is not very sharp about the propellant, and the idea of this motor is, that the propellant and high speed would also cool the reactor, while this missile will travel across the airspace.

But the problem of those weapons is radioactive fallout. The radiation of the reactor would change the material, what travels thru the reactor also radioactive. That's the very bad problem with nuclear-powered aircraft. In the Cold War were many projects, where were investigated the use of nuclear power in many roles like in automobiles and aircraft. The best way to use nuclear reactors in aircraft is to use closed-cycle reactors, where the reactor would use to rotate the turbines. And the propellant would be heated by using electric arc. This would not deliver radioactive fallout into the atmosphere. But this is the only rumor and those test planes are highly classified.
