Writing about modular structure of space station

The modern way to think about spacecraft and other structure is that they might be modular, what means that they could be sent to the sky as little pieces. The Skylab space station was actually an empty stage of Saturn V rocket. One of the greatest idea to build the space station was once introduced by Wernher Von Braun. His idea was that to the skies might send rockets, what stages would equip with dock gates. In this “open wheel” structure every element can be replaced very easily in the case of damage. They would be very easy to connect together, and this process would be not more difficult than docking the spacecraft to the International Space Station. If the shape of the space station would be like “open wheel” without a ring, it can be continued and more elements can dock to it if there is needed more space. The open structure allows that next part can be docked to that body. This allows building gigantic space stations to the Universe by using rocket stages as an element of the gigantic space station.

That would allow to build a very large structure in the orbital trajectory or even more far from the Earth. This structure can be used as the space station, and if in the middle of that structure would put the ring, where is docking gates, those stages could be installed to the structure, what looks like a wheel of the chariot. There might not have a ring around this structure, and if those rocket stages would be used, that space station can be accomplished in secrecy.


If we think that this massive structure would make artificial gravity by using centripetal force, there might be very good conditions for living in that space station. But the problem of this kind of artificial gravity is that if it starts to roll too fast, the structure would be crashed. And the control of the rotating speed is the problem. The wheel-shaped space station might be equipped with electromagnetic power shield, what turns the alpha- and beta-rays away from this space station. This will cover the personnel of this manned station from cancer, what causes by the cosmic rays.


When we are thinking about this kind of colony in space, we must say that that person might be not very weak. In this text, I will write, like the problems of building this kind of structure have been solved. And if the rotating of space station makes the gravity over 1 G would those personnel have more strength than humans, who lives on the Earth. If this kind of colony would be used as spacecraft, what would travel to the other planets, would the rotating speed adjusted, that if that planet has 1,5 times powerful gravity field than Earth, the rotating speed would increase for matching with that gravity.


Or it might increase faster because that would give strength to those members of the colony, and if they face threats, they would have enough physical strength to eliminate the attackers. And this is the space version of doping. In this scenario, those rotating spaceships would travel thru the Universe. The magnetic drive could be installed to that structure, and it would give very high speed to those persons.  There have been many plans to make this kind of wheel-shaped spacecraft or station. Technical problems of those plans have been huge, and this is the reason, why this plan ever accomplished.

Solar Warden-ohjelma sekä salainen avaruusasema ja vaiettu tutkimus interstellaarisesta matkustamisesta

Väitteiden mukaan USA:n asevoimilla on interplanetaariseen tai jopa interstellaariseen lentoon kykeneviä avaruusaluksia. Tuo ohjelma on siis tarinoiden mukaan nimeltään “Solar Warden”, ja se on saattanut käsittää sekä avaruusasemien että äärimmäisen pitkiin lentoihin kykenevien avaruusalusten valmistamisen. Itseasiassa isokokoinen avaruusalus voi muistuttaa paljon avaruusasemaa,  ja se voidaan tehdä sellaiseksi, että esimerkiksi Skylab-tyyppiseen asemaan liitetään telakoimalla ydinrakettimoottori. Ja tietenkin tästä ovat erilaiset teoreetikot saaneet päähänsä, että tuo Skylab-ohjelma oli oikeasti salainen operaatio, missä luotiin ainakin aurinkokunnan sisäosissa liikkuva avaruusalus.

Tällöin voidaan avaruusasemaan  liittää muunnettu S-IV-B-vaihe, jossa on esimerkiksi kiinnitetty ydinreaktori, joka muuttaa aseman avaruusalukseksi. Tuolloin tämä vaihe varustettaisiin reaktorilla sekä jäähdytys elementeillä, joiden avulla reaktori sitten säteilee kehittämänsä hukkalämmön avaruuteen. Tuon projektin olemassaolon kiistäminen perustuu siihen, että siinä tarvitaan niin paljon työvoimaa, että projekti olisi vuotanut julkisuuteen. Kuitenkin robottien avulla  voidaan tuollainen ohjelma sitten toteuttaa ilman suurta miehitettyjen  lentojen määrää, jolloin salassapito on helpompaa. Tuollaisia EEG-käyrän avulla ohjattavia ihmistä muistuttavia robotteja kehitetään jatkuvasti esimerkiksi Googlen laboratorioissa. Tällöin ei ihmisen tarvitse lähteä avaruuteen, ja noita robotteja voidaan ohjata Internetin yli vaikka tavallisista huoneistoista.

Avaruuteen liittyy paljon mystiikkaa, ja koska tuo ympäristö on niin erilainen, kuin se mihin me olemme tottuneet, niin tietenkin näistä asioista kerrotaan mitä erilaisimpia asioita, joista osa on hyvin mielikuvituksellisia. Kuitenkin me kaikki tiedämme, että Maan ihmisillä on mahdollisuus rakentaa sukellusveneeseen perustuva avaruusalus, millä voisimme liikkua avaruudessa. Tuollainen alus olisi oikeastaan eräänlainen sukellusvene, johon on liitetty NERVA-reaktori. Tällainen reaktori ei tarvitse erillistä polttoainetta, koska alus liikkuisi eteenpäin reaktorista purkautuvan hiukkassuihkun avulla. Tai sitten aluksessa on myös WARP-eli magnetodynaaminen ajojärjestelmä, jolla sitä voidaan liikuttaa aurinkokunnassa melko vapaasti.

Mutta toisten mielestä saattaa olla niin, että esimerkiksi USA:n asevoimilla on käytössään myös tähtien väliseen matkaan kykenevä WARP-alus. Vaikka tuollaisen aluksen valmistaminen on päälle päin katsottuna melko vaikeaa, niin todellisuudessa kyseessä olisi vain lentävä sukellusvene. Kun mietitään sitä, että Maan pinnasta suurin osa on meren peitossa, niin silloin tietenkin valtamerta voidaan hyödyntää kiitoratana, mitä hyödyntäisivät suurikokoiset amfibiokoneet, joiden pituus voi olla jopa satoja metrejä. Tämä kuitenkin on vain kuvittelua, ja tuollainen valtava torpedoa muistuttava avaruusalus ensin kiihdyttäisi veden alla nopeuttaan, minkä jälkeen se lähtisi lentoon vetyä käyttävän NERVA-moottorien  avulla. Jos ydinreaktorin läpi johdetaan vetyä, niin se ei muutu niin helposti radioaktiiviseksi, kuin jos käytettäisiin raskaampia alkuaineita.

Kun tuollaista valtavaa avaruusalusta mietitään, niin tietenkin tuollainen alus voidaan konventionaalisessa mallissa laukaista avaruuteen palasina, niin että kantorakettien vaiheita hyödynnetään aluksen valmistamisessa. Tuolloin noihin tyhjentyneisiin  rakettivaiheisiin asennetaan telakoitumisportit, joiden avulla ne sitten liitetään yhteen. Ja sitten aluksen perään asennetaan masto, minkä päähän reaktori liitetään. Mutta tämä varmasti on kuitenkin pelkkää kuvitelmaa, tai ainakaan mitään sellaisia todisteita ei ole, että kyseinen ohjelma olisi mitenkään totta.

Sukellusveneen teknologiaan perustuva avaruusalus voidaan tietenkin lähettää ilmaan myös valtamerestä, ja tuollainen alus voi sitten myös sukeltaa veden alle. Jos oikein villejä kuvitelmia näistä aluksista lähdetään esittämään, niin tietenkin niiden rakentaminen voidaan naamioida sukellusveneisiin liittyväksi projektiksi. Tuolloin esimerkiksi WARP- moottori naamioitaisiin rungon koko pituudelta vedetyiksi torpedoputkiksi. Ja reaktorin jääähdytysrivat voidaan muotoilla haitarimaisesti aluksen kylkeä vasten painettaviksi siiviksi. Kun mietitään tuon ohjelman salailua, niin tietenkin se voidaan hoitaa melko helposti käyttämällä ihmistä muistuttavia robotteja. Noita robotteja kehitetään jatkuvasti esimerkiksi Googlen laboratorioissa, ja niitä ohjataan EEG-käyrän avulla.  

Eli tämän takia esimerkiksi Solar Warden-ohjelma olisi teknisesti mahdollinen. Ja tuo ohjelma olisi voitu salata  melko helposti suurelta yleisöltä. Tietenkin Solar Warden voi tarkoittaa myös avaruusasemia, joita on suunniteltu kiertämään aurinkoa kauas maasta. Se onko tällainen ohjelma oikeastaan pelkkä teoreettine “study project” vai onko siinä tehty konkreettisia aluksia on tietenkin salattu, mutta esimerkiksi Echo-satelliitit saattoivat kuulua osana tätä ohjelmaa.
