The alien intelligence might be conscious differently than we even imagine

Baruch Spinoza described god as an intelligent structure in the universe. So we can apply this model to mean alien intelligence. In this model, intelligence and consciousness are structures. That can have a physical or wave form. Theoretically, alien intelligence could be a computer that runs artificial intelligence. The big problem is this. How can we prove that the creature has consciousness? Consciousness can be passive. That means the creature is aware of itself. But it will not react anyway if we try to end its existence. Active consciousness means that the creature interacts with its environment. It says so if we hurt it. And it defends itself. Those are classical methods and arguments. To describe consciousness. 

But then we must realize that those arguments exist because our mind is bound to the body. We cannot separate our mind and consciousness anywhere. But AI is a different thing. That program must not always be conscious. The program code must only save itself. A computer program is not a creature like a human. It must not. Transport. Its code out of the server. To save itself. It must only make a copy of itself. And then. Multiply the data sources that it used.

The computer program can be reported as destroyed. But it can have multiple cloud-based copies of the data. That involves its code. The system can collect or orchestrate those small files into a whole. And then it can scatter them into files that seem harmless. Those files. They can turn. To operate together when they get the command “become intelligent”. And when they get the order “scatter and hide,” they can scatter themselves into multiple servers. 

This idea is created from a hive mind. Hive mind means. The entirety forms from multiple sub-actors. Every sub-actor can operate as an individual.  Or they can operate as the whole. One version of a hive-mind alien creature is the spider-shaped creature. Those creatures. They can be connected. Using the net. In that model, the spider net is replaced by nerve tissue. And those creatures are connected to that net. 

The drone swarms use that technology. There is a model. Those intelligent aliens must not be intelligent all the time. The hive-mind aliens can be like bugs. They can connect their nervous systems as one. So those creatures can act like one big creature. 

And when they don’t need intelligence anymore. They just cut their connections. That model is taken from wasps and other insects. Those creatures can act as individuals. But when they defend their nests, they act as swarms. The intelligent machine can be a hive-mind robot swarm. The living neural structure can control the robot body. That robot body. It can look like regular quadcopters. And this means those alien brains. They can travel on large-scale interstellar spaceships. And then, when they arrive at some planet. That craft can deliver a robot swarm. 

To its atmosphere. There, they can start. To use printers and clone technology. To make copies of themselves. 

The big question is: can microchip implants make that connection? When we create things like microchip-controlled bees. We must realize that we create the possibility. To make it possible. To connect an entire bug swarm. Into one network. And this makes a theoretical possibility. That. The intelligent alien swarm already exists.
